Customer Information

Internally, Solutium only uses customer information for billing, support, administration, and contacting the customer when necessary. We will not use your details to send you marketing or promotional information. We run an opt-in mailing list to keep our customers informed about planned downtime and any issues that occur, we do not use this to send any other email. It is recommended that at least one contact at any of our clients subscribe to this list. Email addresses can be unsubscribed from this list at any time.

When you purchase a domain name, we are required to pass certain information about you as the registrant to the registry. Usually this will consist of your name, address, and if supplied/applicable, your company name. This information will be visable to anyone as part of the whois information displaying the domain ownership and techinical information.

If we receive appropriate legal documents requiring us to hand over your details (for instance in a police investigation), we will be obliged to do so under UK law.
